they need to bring that MAzda 5 version here with the 2.0 litre and the i-Stop. We love ours but would trade up for the new one. Mazda doesn't want to bring the i-Stop until the EPA fixes the testing methods.

 

maybe its an affordable rwd sports car to compete against the ft-86??

I don't think this has anything to do with the next RX-7 or what ever. I think this MIGHT be a MS6. The front bumper has an aggressive stance to it. It would be awesome if it has the Taurus SHO drivetrain, but that's just wishful thinking. What's really bugging me are the lights that got taped on the exterior of the car. That could be just for the camo job or for added room under the hood.

 

I still fail to see how they know this is an RX-7 mule.

Agreed. I must say that the wheels have an unusual fitment to the actual body itself. An AWD mule for the Ateza/6 perhaps?

 

how difficult would it be to just snap a pic of the underside of that car.. seriously.. ugh

Sampling audio seems like a simple task, but try doing the rest while it's moving .

 

Some of those pics don't even have a driver inside.. so it wouldn't be moving ;]

 

I don't think any journalist would bother jumping into the car and popping the hood when it doesn't belongs to a cooperate company.

 

I don't see how anyone jumped to the conclusion that this was an RX anything.

This car has absolutely nothing to do with a new rotary car. End of story. We all love to speculate but the publisher/spies should be ashamed as should anyone not sharp enough to see it.

i didn't mention earlier how small the exhaust is. don't look any bigger than 2 inches. could you imagine running a 16x on pipes that small?

 

tail pipes can be misleading. need to see the exhaust piping.

you can see they aren't just tips but the ends of the pipes. o they aren't big enough.
