yeah that city is called los angeles, california, i watched them shoot some of it in downtown, pretty stupid, and i had some dumb *** kids in corollas and 240sx's tring to race me.

sure its for ricers and a terrible series of movies but its entertainment. and at least some car recruiter recognized his car as nicely done and i'm sure thats more of a compliment than you've ever recieved on your car

 

I hope we gonna see a lot off your car in the movie, it sure is one of the best looking car's in the movie. Hope they gonna be drifting the 8 in the movie for real and not computer animate the drift scenes like they did in the previous one.

 

I will most likely get a bootleg copy, infact i'll steal it from the guy that sells the bootleg at my local liquor store so they won't see a penny from my pocket..hahaha

Wouldn't it be cool if they got a 3-rotor from PR to be the lead car in the movie.....that would be great!

ok her is a thought..... for everyone that is goinig to see the movie take a digital camera along with you.... take a picture of the parking lot and then we can all compare the rice levels from the theatre's we go too...... ( IMPORTANT!!!!!: Make sure that none of the ricers see you taking pictures, we don't want them thinking we are taking pictures of there "ridez" especially if some of you are going to be dareing enough to drive your RX-8) of course this will have to be a whole new thread to make sure we can hold all the "Uncle Bens"...... :-)

For the record: I am ONLY going to go see this movie in an attempt to see Sam's car. (considering the last one SUCKED and the first movie was only "okay") I'll make sure to leave the RX-8 at home and try and get pictures of all the little ricers...

Looks like the main attention goes to the Z,RX-7 and the Mustang with the Skyline engine in it-strait blasphemey!

 

They put a Skyline engine in the Mustang? That is about the dumbest thing i've ever heard.

 

Yeah thats suppose to be the "Grand Finale" between the two cars at the end.The 350Z against a Mustang with a Skyline engine in it.

Geez people, I never said a bad word about his car, lighten up! obviously he's put a lot of time and money into it. Had you read my entire post I also stated that I know he's excited and having his car on tv is definitely worth talking about. I hope he gets a clear shot of it in the movie as well. I would love to have my car on tv, but I'm just not so sure that I'd want THAT to be how it gets there....... I guess I'm just too scared that after it was over I'd have to hear my friends yell "NOS!!!" at me non-stop..... or maybe "so are you livin' a 1/4 mile at a time now?" Different strokes for different folks..... as I said before...have fun with it!

 

I will be seeing this movie, sadly, as I have already promised a friend that I would go see it with him. And even more sadly as he is carless, we will be taking my 8.

I wonder if I can make it home without being "drifted" into.

Perhaps the local cops will be hanging out nearby so that I might be slightly safe.

I will be looking out for the lucky chap who's car was chosen.
