Looks like the only 8 we get is crashed into a few other cars, although it looks to be a black one towards the bottom of the page.

Nice spy pics. That 8 was probably an innocent bystander in the film for it to be stock with out the typical F&F decals and sh*t like that. I enjoyed the 1st one because I had my FD at the time and the FD got a lot of love in that one. The 2nd one was a glorified Hip Hop video that made me sick to my stomach--hopefully the third will be somewhere in between the two.

 

Looks like the 350Z is going to be the big car in this edition. The muffler on the Mustang in the last photo is a nice touch.......wait a minute, that looks like h*ll!

 

Thankfully there won't be an 8 in this "film".

 

Could it be because our 8's aren't very "Fast or Furious" ?

 

They were filming alot of these scenes right next to my apartment in downtown. It was pretty neat, as they had done up the entire city to look like Tokyo, so all the signs, traffic lights, exterior lighting, etc were changed to look like Japan. The only scene I managed to catch a glimpse of before being chased off was an NSX crashing

 

They don't have enough 350z's. They need more. I only say like 17 of them.

 

The second and third pics from the bottom both look like there's a dark colored RX8 in them. Not sure if I'm right, but that front car in the picture with the cars lined up sure does seem to have fender arches similar to the 8. Though, I wouldn't be surprised if that was just some heinous bodykit on a Civic or something.

Oh well, I'm sure I'll end up seeing it. I'm a glutton for punishment and what better way to be punished than by watching a terrible automotive movie!?

 

Well I've only watched about 10 minutes of the first one and I didn't see anything that I would consider "Fast and Furious" maybe I just missed the good parts ?

As for the 8 not being considered "Fast and Furious" THANK YOU MAZDA . But maybe that was your point.

 

The funniest part about these movies is the parking lot of the theater after the movies over. I've never heard so many burn-outs, revving engines and fart-can mufflers in my life. LOL! Ricefest I tell ya!!!

 

Hahaha, yeah after seeing the last one with a group of friends, we hung around outside for a while and it was absolutely hilarious. Best part was when a ricer peeled out of the parking garage just as a cop drove by - WHOOPS! Unfortunately, it seemed the cop either didn't see him or didn't care. Though, it was obvious the ricer saw him - that fart can got real quiet after having that run in.

Seriously though, how stupid can you possibly be? I can still remember the barrage of news reports warning that the police were going to be stepping up patrols in response to this movie. Why in the hell would you STILL go out and be an idiot?

I'm 90% sure those are RX-8's. And one of them looks like it has a park-bench style wing.

bah, the second one was horrendous! The first one had its scenes I suppose but hopefully this isn't as bad as "2 fast 2 furious"

 

What is the orange and black car? I can't tell...

 

Pretty sure that's an NSX that's been put in the hands of a ricer. Took me a while to accept that there are such atrocities out there in the world, but alas, there are movies like this.

I'm pretty sure that's an 8. The fenders on the 7 aren't flared at all really and I doubt the lines on any body kit would wind up being so close to the lines of the 8. Unfortunately, these movies seem to have found our beloved rotaries and are doing horrible things to them as we speak.

 

I think the black and orange one and the teal one are FDs.

 

Yeah the black n orange ones kinda have tail lights like an FD... but really hard to tell. The 3rd from last pic does have a teal FD, the 2nd from last pic has a blue RX8 at the front of the pack... I think the light makes it look tealish maybe

 

So do I. Look at the door handles and the shape of the roof. Also consider the size.

 

Well I think the RX8 having a presence in the movie is important to keep it in the public consciousness in real life. It reassures all the teenage ********* out there that the RX8 is relevant and a part of the current trend.

 

But then again, if the 8 was in this movie, many more teens would get the 8 and try to mod and street race it. and sadly... rice it up

Hmm, after looking at the pics again, I'm starting to wonder if the 8 and 7 are a team, like the RedSuns (or at least Keisuke and Ryosuke) from Initial D. They look like they're both painted in a similar manner.

Also, with that black and orange...thing, I can see the possibility of it being a 7, but it almost looks like they've changed it so much that they're just going to credit it as something else. All the other cars have maintained their obvious identities, wonder why this one's so wacky.

Personally, I won't be disappointed if I don’t see an RX8 in this movie. Who knows that these idiots are capable of doing to the 8? Lets take a look at the mystery black and orange vehicle, is it an FD or an NSX? It may look ‘nice’, but it still falls under RICE.
