yeah saw these pics on another site....the rx8 isnt a car ricers want, cause its now 'fast' enough...i say good.

 

could have done wonders for the resale value though if it was the hero car and the movie was good (see supra resale value pre/post FATF)

the orange car in that night shot isnt an rx7(FD), it is a Nissan 240SX. that is the only car that has the light that looks similar to the FD. i recognize it because 2 of my friends have one.

that is the faboulous body kit...super expensive .... original fd has one of a kind rims... actually four of 1kind

 

Hah, at first I was like, "What? CLearly an FD," but then I realized I said the wrong pic. I meant the third* to last one, the back of the 7. The second to last pic appears to have a darkish blue 8, not really teal.

I wonder what happens to all of the cars. Are they sold off, gutted, what happens. Do they simply rent a bunch of the cars to use? Many of them are painted exactly the same so clearly they're not simply 'borrowing' from the public. Heh, so they auction off the cars and you run into the guy running the same identical 350z as you in the street, from the decals to the headers - trippy.

 

It seems they put them into the show circuit for a while and then sell them off. I'm not sure that any of them are actually street legal, so I don't know what becomes of them afterwards.

 

I know why they didn't use RX8 in the movie.

 

please don't keep us in suspense any longer.

 

haven't we spotted one possibly two in the lineups? a black one and a blueish one?
