Even as a repost I never get tired of re-reading fun stories like this . In fact I see new bits when I do re-read usually!
Thanks Roland, good find (cam is just trying to be a thread cop for neubies, just ignore).

you wont be singin' the same tune come next summer when someone posts an article etc.. that has already been posted 12 times.
And BTW, im not the post police. I could give two ***** if he posts a link to a mag story thats been posted before. The point of the "repost" is to let the thread starter know its been discussed before, and not to expect to much of the new "find".

But thanks for the thread reference anyway - and btw - yes - like those that didn't see it the first time, those that recently joined the club, those that want to re-read it.... etc., etc., etc. If everything became useless after a short time posted here, there would be no need to have a history, just starta new board every week or so

I saw the same exact thing posted 2 weeks ago and I put "repost" on it too. https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...987#post748987 Cam wasn't bitter until someone said "F the repost police" which cam is not anyway. Spin, no need to play Dad.
A good idea would be to do a search before starting a new thread. If you want to revive it, then bump it up.

No harm, no foul as far as I'm concerned. It's an easy mistake to make. The story is linked from the R&T front page - not something you would expect for an old story - and the most obvious date on the story page is the current date.
I did look for recent threads on the topic, but I didn't search because I thought the article was brand new, not months old.
I'll be more careful next time.

the search engine on this site sucks at its best anyway. I'm not going to sift thru 4 or 5 pages of threads that may or may not be named in such a way as to alert me that my post would be a repost, and my goodness this is an extremely long run-on sentence with a large number of prepositions. :p
