Intersting news to say the least. Bring it to SSX this weekend! Come on Mazda. Show it off at the world's largest rotary event!

remember when it was posted that automobile reported a "16c"
and dillsrotary wa sgood enough to confirm the C.
I said that Mazda was using the letter C to show a change in the geometry- dimensions besides width-
hehehhehehehehe!!!!! i love it when the pieces all fit together like this!!!!
remeber that each of the cars starting with nagare has been closer to production than the previous one. Following the timeline i saw previously this car at Tokyo will be only like 2 years out!!!
so its at "EVOLVE" stage. Next would be "First Yellow RX-8 prototype" stage at Detroit a year from now(or LA)
AND a fresh face for the RX-8 over the winter- exactly like Gomez and Revolver(our freinds from down under ) have been reporting this last week- ONYA FELLAS!!
I read the same in latest issue of automobile. Word is that Mazda is working on an RX7 16C rotary (1.6L) that pushes 300hp with "25% more displacement than the RX8." Article states that; "In spite of flagging interest in the RX8 (new 2006 models are still avaliable with a $3,000 discount), Mazda hasn't abandoned hope for the Wankel power."

Time to spam this thread with excitement!!
The new Flow concept car looks like a MAzda 6 from the front.
On the new Renesis, if they change the dimensions to deal with the inefficiency of the rotary engine, 1.6L might not be the only working dimension. With 1.6L of displacement I am sure the redline will decrease. How about a 1.35L, 1.4, 1.45L... These might all work. It would be awesome if the new rotary can maintain the same redline of the Renesis.
Man this weekend will be crazy for all of us rotorheads.. I will be on this forum all weekend to read the updates from you guys.
