I noticed that they didn't call this car a RX-7 in any part of that article. Who knows what it will be called.

It looks like there is room for a backseat. Do you think so? If so,

so do you think the kabura is still a separate car or is this an evolution of the kubura?

 

The big news is not the possible RX-7 that is still a long time away, the big news is THE NEW RX-8 WITH LARGER ENGINE THIS WINTER!!!

 

separate i think, Kabura will come with 2.0L inline 4 and will be cheap and lightweight.

I think this is a Kabura together with the other desings, as we have seieing with the other cars this is more a desing filosofy than an actual car, so if the Kabura gets built it will be derive from this car as well as a new rx-7( or what ever they call it)

 

nonono the larger engine is just in the tokyo show car. not in the rx-8, but the 8 does get a facelift this winter

 

still want the engine someone go steal it

we might see a face lift RX-8 at SSX? instead of the new rotary.

Well it better have enough power to match other new performance vehicles by Toyota/Lexus, Honda (LOL, accord coupe), Nissan, etc. It's ugly too.

 

This makes me sad / happy.

Need to see more details.. specs, weight.. price!

 

If you end up saying the rear looks like a Sebring or something STUPID, I'm going to euthanize you.

the front needs some work, but remember how ugly the Yellow prototype rx-8s front was, and how weird the rx-evolve front was?

yeah the rx8 came a long way in just a few short years prior to production. Just fine tuning the appearance.

 

I think I would prefer the Kabura design alot more, It looks more rotay like than this model does

 

The pic on that page just looks like the Kabura to me.

Like Rotary Crazy said, that front end can be integrated right into the Kabura. Neither front end will make it to production.
