Road & Track April Issue (RX-8 Tested)

Oh come on guys we're losing our touch if I found the Road and Track RX-8 issue first :D

I'll try and get some scanned copies up later. If anyone can help me get them up faster if they have the issue that would be appriciated.

They say it's (as we already know) hard to find a direct competitor, but they also think the G35c comes close in a vehicle to compare to. And the RX-8 has the advantage in that it's lighter, more agile handling feel.

They also say AS TESTED includes:

STANDARD EQUIPMENT: (includes these listed)

Auto. climate control
AM/FM radio w/ in-dash 6-disc CD player

and it had the extras from the GT package

everything else that was listed we already have heard about.

Then again this had to be a preproduction car again so maybe those won't be in the final car, but we can only hope they won't change things like that because the mags are now starting to report that it had it in them as tested at a certain price point. (31,100 as tested, normal MSRP with GT package)

PS they got a 0-60 in 5.9s with only a 7500rpm launch, compared to the C&D people that did the same at 8500 or so.

Dude, I beat you to it, but posted it in the wrong forum (the lounge). Can a moderator move my thread in the lounge over here?
