Hot Mazda Sales Continue to Melt Winter's Ice

Decent numbers overall. With the 6 hatch and wagon coming, it's only going to get stronger.

 

Mazda is doing good... I think they should make a MAZDA 6 COUPE to compete with Toyota Solora and Honda Accord Coupe...

 

Why? Mazda already has a superior coupe to sell! :D

 

OK, who boughts the three new 626 cars?

 

Better question is who bought that one Millenia. I bet it sold for half off.

 

I don't have the link to the article but this is on the paper this morning. Mazda3 had just overtaken the Honda Civic as the best selling car overall in Canada.

Mazda Canada's Feb sale soared 18.4% from last year's Feb figure. Overall Mazda sold almost the same number of cars as nissan for the month of Feb.

Keep posting good figures like that and we'll not have to worry about the Rotary Engine disappearing from our shores ever again.

 

why do we want sales to be good...pretty soon these car will be a dime a dozen and we will be just another car on the road?

I don't mind dime a dozen cars as long as they are well designed and easy on the eyes.....anything to distract me from seeing another 50 freakin' Mustangs tomorrow.....where's the barf bag!!

And yes Mikeb, I'd love to see a 4th gen 7 as well!!...What's that word again..."hedonism"...

Well maybe 325's but the 330 rocks and is definately not a dime a dozen.

 

Rumor has it that they will be bringing out the 5-door touring sedan again. That was a nice looking ride. The roof line was 2" shorter than the 4-door sedan

I'm rather surprised at how much to my liking all the new Mazda stuff is. I had looked at them a few years back before the 6 came out and they didnt have a single car I really liked (Mazdaspeed protege looked fun and sporty, but not enough to really catch my eye). Now I own 1 Mazda and they have another 2 cars in their line-up I really like.

 

All I see is 6's every time I go for a drive in my neck of the woods.Hopefully there will be more 8's this smmer.

 

I'm seeing a lot of 6's on the road as well. As a matter of fact, I'm trying to convince a friend to get one right now!
