I do not have any pictures yet but if I get any before someone else here scoops me then I will post them.

I knew about this version for awhile but could not really say anything until I got the official OK from Mazda corporate. I'd love to give info away earlier but I don't want to get myself or anyone else at our dealership in trouble.

Our dealership sells a lot of cars because we have mechanics and even some salesmen who actually know what they are talking about and are car guys too. People who know us know what I am talking about.
I anwered that I work at one of the top selling delaerships because someone asked how I got the info and I wanted tp prove that it was not bogus. I was just trying to help out on this thread by passing on the info that I had and explain why it was legit so why do you feel the need to make a comment like this?

My dealer showed me the PDF file on the dealer's ordering site, he already has one on order. There are pictures of a right -hand drive Shinka in the file, but the color is off. He did have a Black cherry Miata on the lot, so I did get to see the color. The description given in the earlier post is correct. There will only be one car alotted to each dealer, but i can imagine that some dealers will get more by buying one from a dealer in an area where the car won't sell. according to the offering on Mazda's site, there will be 2150 made. The big question is how much will the Shinka package add to the price of the car. As of this past Saturday when I saw the car, there was no price listed. They will be built in November, so I guess we will see them around January.

They need to focus on the car's power and not looks if they want to increase their sold units.

2005 Shenka!!!!!!!!!!
As you'll note from my pic, I like this car!
The RX-8 Shinka is a limited production RX-8 and will be in very limited availabilty in the Austin area. I have already sold two of them and have the opportunity to receive a few more. If you are interested in coming out and taking a look at the Shenka and some of the incredible incentives Mazda is offering for drivers to own one, just drop me an email at mshaw@mazdasouth.com.

i saw one at my dealer outside...thought from a distance,,,"hmmmmmmmm isnt that a sweet black 8?!?!" on getting closer i thought, damn! why didnt i wait for this color...its beautiful.
very dark and rich which looks great with the 8s curves.
parchment leather is sweet too, altough i like my black and chapparel better. this parchment stuff looks thicker and softer , like a higher grade leather without the plastic ribbing stuff too.
had an automatic though. are they all auto?

I just recently saw a Shinka Edition about 3 weeks ago. Looks pretty "cherry" but im not too big on the parchment leather.
Couple days later i heard they sold it for $28,000 and change. That's pretty damn good price considering the MsRP is $ 33,030.

What! An extra 6000 for a paint job and the front end of the frame is a little stiffer.
Oh, ok I can paint the plastic in my interior black and get a different color for the two tone leather.
