RX-8 in Tokyo Drift "Fast and the F..."

F&F is like the best movie ever! All those people that supposedly hate it, are also the people that memorized the lines in the movie. Ah, such corny lines... that is what makes it such a classic! I hope this version has equally as many corny lines as the first.

But ya, why MUST they include a token black guy in all the F&F movies?

That yellow/black RX-7, I very much enjoy that.
I will be there to see this opening night. Why? Regardless of the substance, it's a CAR movie. I'm just happy to go see a big budget car movie.

but Ludacris is.
But I do kind of resent the everyone complaining about a "token black guy" being in these movies since I'm black, own an 8, autocross it, and go to car shows and drift events. And I'm usually not the only one when I go to car events. There's a bunch of us that acutally prefer import cars over gigantic '80s land crusers with 22"+ rims or dodge chargers/magnums.
Yet I am tired of us getting stupid throwaway roles like Ja Rule's and probably what Bow Wow's will be. There's enough of us in the import scene to warrent some more rounded roles.

That guy that played Hector in the first F&F seemed to fit his role nicely for the latin population, but when they try to cast a black guy, they go for someone recodnizible in a stupid role instead of someone who actually looks like they belong in the movie. Granted since there isn't a ton of us into import cars we tend to hang around white guys and asian guys who are.... sort of like the role Ludacris had... damn we just can't win. Oh well, I just hope Bow Wow doesn't make it so that I can't show up at a drift meet without people asking me to say: "it's called driftin', if you ain't outta control - you ain't in control."
