By the way, it's not that I don't like Silver cars, it's just that they are so bloody boring to me. They don't look bad, they are just everywhere. It blends in to everything causing a unstimulating blur. When I see a red, orange, yellow, blue, or green car, it attracts my attention. I like the Nordic Green, Lightening Yellow, Winning Blue, and Stormy Blue very much. I LOVE THE PHANTOM BLUE

Silver is the most popular color on a car period. Many people like them. Because of that, that contributes to my indifference of them. I'd never buy a silver car. But to each his own.
And to just make it clear again... I DON'T THINK SILVER IS UGLY.

there are reasons why the rx8 stands alone in the field of class.some things are just better with out all the hype!you can not always be with the Z family or the chevy,ford etc.. a bright star will always out shine the others when looked at alone.don't compare beauty and the beast.

Well....at least the numbers created by all above average intelligence, far beyond normal beauty, most advanced car owners in the world. Now those Ford Fusion people are sketchy at best, so don't listen to them.

I don't care for silver on the RX8. I don't care for silver on most cars, I agree with the poster who said it just blends in and isn't attractive but is the cleanest.
For some reason though, to my eye, cars that have clean hard lines tend to look better in silver. Just about anything German looks good in silver and my GF has an Infinity G35 which I think looks great in silver.
Dramatic, flowing lines need color. That's why Ferrari's and Lambo's look great in red, yellow, etc. A friend's father has a 360 Modena in silver, I love the machine but the color does NOTHING for me.
It's all subjective of course, and there's nothing wrong with silver just like there's nothing wrong with red or green. Whatever your eyes like...
