Sorry if this is a repost but mazda sold over 2,300 rx8's last month. Those are great numbers. And as the weather heats up, I think sales will jump even more. Over 3,000 per month does not seem too far fetched.
I must be honest, I expected the 8 to sell well, but not this well. Defintely(sp) a nice suprise.

the 2 dealers that I had shopped at both had at least 3x the orders for the 8 that are due in april and may.....
although i enjoy the exclusivity of my 8 i'll be more than happy to share the road with more

 

Yep. Good numbers. If it hits (and stays) at 3000, more rotary models will be coming.

 

I hope so paulie. Personally, I would love to see a 2 door rx8 come out for a brief test run. They could call it the rx8c or something. Not really a new rx7 so to speak, (although that would be just fine) but a car with a little harder edge to it, even more so than the mazdaspeed 8. Also, a renisis in a miata would be cool, although my 6'5" butt is never going to fit. :D

 

I think there will be more rotary cars to come seeing that the RX-8 was the 2nd best selling sportscar in America last year following only the 350Z, which says a lot since it wasn't for sale all year.
