Prlly need to go back over the last couple pages and see if you can figure out who had it - then send a PM asking for it.

umm, it's for that very reason that a lot of people aren't giving it away anymore.

It's not meant to be used for evidence against a dealership, it seems to be more of an informing video that wasn't supposed to be leaked to the public.

Considering how black-listed this video is now, putting up a statement like that is almost gauranteed to prevent you from finding a copy...presuming that any even exist anymore.

HUH? Brown's in Tyson's??? No -- Rosenthal is in Tyson's (and Arlington). Brown's is in Alexandria (Rt 1) and Fairfax.

I've had good experiences with the service at Rosenthal Arlington.

Just found this link.
Please, let's start downloading it and uploading it to free hosting sites like RapidShare so that we can keep posting links when needed.

This one has a very obvious title, but when we start making copies and uploading elsewhere, let's use more conspicuous names.
The cool thing about RapidShare, and I'm sure there are other sites like them, is that their database cannot be searched.
In other words, unless you know the link, you can't find anything.
So, on RapidShare you can use any name you want, it will never be found.

I have several copies of this video uploaded to different locations.
And, as some of you know, I have a version of it secretly saved on a popular video site but I didn't use any keywords, and I changed the title so it can't be found.

It's pretty simple.
Make-up an account on Youtube, Myspace or whatever.
Make-up a new name for the video. (i.e. Unhappy feet.avi)
Don't put any keywords in your description that could make it easily found in a search. (i.e. Mazda, mulligan, rx8, taking-it-in-the-rear from MNAO)
Then everytime one gets removed, we can post a new link.

If we get enough copies of this on the net, Mazda will get tired of trying to stop all of them. They had mine removed from youtube when the name was obvious, but NEVER AGAIN!!! hahaha

I'm sure no one wants to get into a pissing match w/ Mazda as to what they have on their site that should not have been leaked to begin with.

Please excuse my ignorace...I was thinking that the link you provided simply took you to a server, and wasn't a direct link to the download.

Also didn't realize that simply put, you have to type in that conformation code...i was going in circles

Thanx a million.

Oops Sorry, correct you are. Rosenthal in tysons. Well the issues have been cleared up. just that when i got my car a month and 1/2 ago i have had the clutch go bad, breaks fade and screem like crazy, 3rd gear sincro, and about about of oil every two weeks. Just learning the car. used to build DSM's and S2000's so this is my new project. hard to start if the basics are breaking. but already put like 3k in the bolt on arean for the car so no turning back now!!.

Just so you all know. I am a former Asst service manager, not for Mazda but for another huge import car company, the biggest.

The reason they are not including RX8 owners is this:
Dealers are rewarded for good surveys and most if not all by now, manufacturers either penalize the dealers monetarily or by holding back inventory for low CSI scores. Apparently most RX 8 owners are very dis-satisified with their vehicles. So much so that the dealers must have complained to mazda saying they could not satisfy owners no matter what and mazda agreed. It is really Mazda saying you are right our RX 8 is a piece of S$%T and we know you can't make them happy.

It is not the dealers fault the car is junk ( I own one, and I am frankly tired of this piece of S#%T).

Wow, that video was a riot...the whole thing carries a somewhat optimistic message RIGHT UP until they are like...uh hum...and the RX8...yea it just won't be included...

Talk about politics...it almost sounded like they were putting a positive twist on how awesome it is that the 8's scores just don't count, cause their so low. yea, so lets just forget about em... wtf.

I can understand this from the dealers perspective and their desire for the change. But also consider it from the customers perspective. Now what level of service will the RX-8 owner receive? The incentive for the service dept. to provide exceptional service to 8 owners is now gone.

Mazda made a business decision which is good for dealers but one which some customers find unacceptable. Time will tell if Mazda will pay a price for this business decision.

I don't work for Mazda or a dealer so my only task is to interpret the decision as a customer. And as a customer the decision sucks and will potentially decrease my level of service, certainly not increase it.
