Keith,
Overall, what type of roads (ie driving conditions) do you guys take for the San Bern cruise? Are they mostly wide-open roads like in your photos, or more sharp, windy, uphill/ downhill, narrow like Malibu cruise? San Bernardino is a bit far for me. But, your pictures make it look very tempting...

I would say that the Crestline and the Big Bear routes are the best for the roads out here. The other roads that we've tried have either been really short (in comparison to the event that is Malibu), or has way too many cars on them. It still is fun to have an opportunity to drive with a bunch of other rotaries, and to have the meet/greet in the morning to check out everyone's rides.
It looks like we are going to see a portion of Crestline again this week. So, maybe if you are trying to find the right week to check it out, it may be this week. We are hoping for some rain, as there is a portion of hwy 138 that gets washed out and it makes for great picture opportunities. Don't give your car a great wash as it will get dirty on this run. A light wash for the morning pics would be good though

We will probably plan a Big Bear run maybe after the first snow. Again, makes for great pics. If you check the first page of the San Bernardino thread, you;ll find links to all the meets and the pics taken. The snow trip definately stands out from the rest. Hope to catch you tomorrow...as we are meeting this weekend given that the autocross event at California speedway is next weekend (10th/11th).
