2005 Corvette and RX-8
My father-in-law just bought a new 2005 Corvette and brought it over to show me. Some of the options on this car are unbelievable. To open the door you just press a button inside the door and it electronically opens for you. It doesn't have a key either. They give you a pad that you keep in your pocket and it tells the car's computer that you can open the door or start the car. I also included a picture of the start button. No keys needed hear. The car is a rocket. I stepped on the gas and I thought the front end was going to come up. It is much nicer then any Corvette I have ever seen before. Take a look at the headlights. They look exotic. Well that is enough talking. Enjoy the pics. Hopefully, I can upload them properly. Here goes nothing.

C6? More like C-sex am I rite?
I wonder if pops would notice if you swapped drivetrains one weekend?
EDIT: Is it just me or do the wheel openings look waaaay too big for the stock wheel/rubber?

Personally I still prefer the exterior looks of the C5 slightly. The C6 may grow on me more with time though.
A friend at work just bought a new C5 for an amazingly low price. Great looking car on the exterior, but man the RX-8's interior was far superior. I can't believe what a Fisher-Price type of interior the C5 has. The C6 appears to be an improvement (but still not as good as the 8).

Thanks for the great response everyone. It is one bad *** car. That thing can get up and move.
Philodox, to answer your question about the tranny. I said the same thing, but he just doesn't want to be bothered with the manual transmission. Trust me, that car does not need any more power then it already has.
KN34, he still likes my car also. It isn't as fast, but he loves the styling of the 8.
Mikelikes2drive, thanks for the compliment on the clean car. I haven't waxed it since May, but it does have about 16 coates of liquid glass on it since I bought it last September. I plan to wax it again this weekend.

I haven't bothered asking the company, but do you suppose one of the Rx-7 LS1 conversions might be able to work in the 8?
