Mazda is 33% ford or the other way around, they own alot of mazda stock. And it goes back aways, the first generation protege's were built on escort chasis's.

correct me if I'm wrong, but we had a discussion on this earlier (in another thread) and we found out that the new taillights will not fit the current 8's taillight. Meaning, it cannot be a direct swap.

The US mugen civic is a joke, its the one that costs 30k. The US version is just a cosmetic package with some tweaks to the suspension.

The real JDM version, civic mugen RR, will run you $40K! But it's a total package with an engine upgrade to 240 hp.

The one shown in this thread, with the all carbon fibre front end, must be tuned even further than the standard mugen RR.
