someone should use that car as a give away somewhere, I'd be all over it.

Do a search here for "acosta racing 20b" - there's several threads here, Acosta documented the build of that car here, and a bunch of discussion threads about the car at that time, and for each of the times it's been up on e-bay.

Yes, we've seen that car!

Regards,
Gordon

How much did it go for the first time? $70,000. or something around there wasn't it? It seem more like someone will buy it this time around.

To each their own. If I were going to spend for a car in that price range I'd pick between the BMW M3 w/SMG or Lotus Elise.

Whatever happened to that magazine shootout with a Porshe?

A classic case of motor vehicle over-investment.

Yes, it likely also requires a quart of oil every 10 miles. Hence, the fitment of a dash mounted oil dipstick and filler spout.

it seems with their asking price they are somehow trying to sell the car for well over the amount invested in it. i know its been in a few publications and has alot of HP....but theres no way your gonna MAKE money of a modified car unless its owned by craig liberman and fast and furious just hit the theatres.

im amazed how much of mazda fanatic's you guys are!!!
i can only dream of ever owning that car.

1st this is a 20 b engine,fully worked cable of 650rwhp++
2nd do the math on that car, engine, setup throw in a thousand for being in a magazine and world recognized what do you get well over $70,000
obviously i dont have that money but because of that i will NEVER say that car isnt worth it or "trying to sell car for well over amount"
you guys have no idea what this car has done for our rx8.
show me another one ?
i have personally talked to sr.acosta in his shop months back and talking to him he has told me a story of the feelin of that car on the highway that gev me chills.
and this man has driven his mx-3 into the 7sec barrier far before some of you have ever heard of a rotary engine.

Show some respect for the builder ,the car.im not a part of acostaracing but they have worked on my car(rx7) and my friends car.and for you guys put the car down even the dumbest comment is maybe why you guys like the movie xmen and have no idea who dr.wankel is
this is only for the haters not meant for everyone.

Without a doubt in my mind, they know what they are doing. I would buy this car too if I had money to blow. The only thing they didn't do very good is the springs. I believe they cut them instead of doing it the right way. That is the only gripe I have about that car. Other than that, I would buy it.

Hey Kel Rx8 how's it going? Long time no see.
