I had a request for a larger version of an image so I thought I'd make it available to everyone. It's a close up of Audi #2 between turn 10A and 10B.

Enjoy!

I'm sure the sound cannot be truly appreaciated untill it is heard (And felt) in person.
On TV all you hear is the whine, not untill you there in person do you hear the full sound spectrum of any race engine.

Eager counting the days untill ALMS @ Mid-Ohio

The first 3 rotor raced in the states was Roger Mandeville's IMSA Rx7, at the time making around 450hp about the same as today. There have been a few improvements since then better engine management(faster computers go figure) better seal design and reduced friction. This engine has reached its development peak or it is very close. A tried and true PPort which for all out racing is the way to go.

The motor used in the Sportbook car is actually 20B based as compared to the 13Gs that were used by Mandeville and Downing. By the way, did anyone notice what type of seals are being used on that Racing Beat 1000hp motor? Hint, they're the same type utilised on the 1500hp Ibarra RX8 drag car.
