I just did mine on the weekend... yellow on TI gray. Canadian tire sells Caliper painting kits with brake cleaner, paint, stir stick, brush and a bit of masking tape.

I think that blue's a bit dark for your car. Maybe a silver colour for calipers even?

I like the dark blue on the blue. Your suggestion of yellow for TI is probably a good one... gets me thinking.

Looking good Benny! What kinda paint did you use for this? I used a nice enamel paint.

Kinda freaky but we almost have identical cars (save for the different colored calipers)

How did you strip your lugs?

Blue looks good though.

haha i looked at your sig.. you're a couple mods ahead of me! also i used VHT caliper paint... i think those are the correct letters... i got it at autozone for 8$ a can... it was decent price..
How did you strip your lugs?

its not the lug... its the one with the special key so its harder to steal your rims.. its liek a ad on and diff design... (in both pics.. the bottom of the rotary sign is pointing to the lug lock)
and i have no clue how it got stripped... im guessin when i was loosening the srews it might have slid out a little more and cause it to strip?

[QUOTE]did u have to take the wheels off?

Yes i did and it was a pain in the *** cuz it took me like an hour to figure out where to jack the car up from!

thanks for all the comments!

ps... for those who painted the rusted rotors... on the rear.. how did you paint those? cuz arent the brake pads and caliper in the way of those? i would think you have to rotate them so that spot is shown but how do oyu do that if your car is on a jack?

Here's a rough shot of what it looks like on a TI Gray.

On a TI grey car without clear corners (like the photo and mine), have you considered an orange color that would match the amber corner reflector?

ÜberJumper, about how much was the Canadian Tire kit?

maclean, I think around 35 bucks or so? I've got a shitload of paint left after doing my calipers too... probably enough for 3 more coats all around.

I'm planning on clear corners, as soon as I get off my lazy ***, find a supplier, and the stealth bulbs.
