And another new rx8 owner revs on by...
Hello!
I'm new to the forum as you can see.
After doing some serious research I narrowed down my choices to the rx8 or the s2000 (pre 04).
But in reality (well for me anyways) the s2000 was not a very logical choice.
So on friday I was driving to the bank to deposit my check and I saw this 04 rx8 GT at the local Mazda dealer, in a gorgeous blue.
Then I saw the price tag.
So I checked it out and test drove it, and gave everything a good look over.
It only had 40,010 on it, and they wanted 18 flat so I said hell yea i'll take it!
The rest is history I guess...
(I don't have a camera so my brother thought it would be a cool idea(I think they are cheesy) if he used his camera to take pictures of me infront of it and inside etc but I only got 2 of the pics =/ )

congrats on the purchase. 40k miles is not a lot, especially for a engine like the rotary. Make sure all the recalls have been done by going to your local mechanic.......if they haven't been completed, get them done asap (covered by Mazda...no cost to you).

Everything in Cali is more expensive, I got the same remarks from out of state friends regarding my RX8. I found an 04 Cheaper it was around $17,500 but it had over 50K miles and no warranty left.

Oh yeah congrats. Now this weekend you want to go to the mountain nearest you and scare yourself with the cornering abilities of your Rex. And don't be afraid to run the needle to the red for a good time
