Here's another one. Even though I'm not crazy about tan usually, I thought the black/chaparral leather looked very nice in the titanium RX-8.

It's really cool in person. The new 2003 SE miata's come in the titanium grey color. There are about 3 or 4 at my dealership and it's by far the nicest color I have ever seen on a mazda. The color shifts from grey to silver to a silverish blue to a greenish blue. . . It's pretty damn awesome. The whole appearence of the car is great because each different angled peice reflects a diiferent shade.

Titanium Grey is being used on the 2003 Shinsen MX-5 (Miata). If you select the Shinsen, then 'Exterior' and then roll your mouse over the dots on the car body you'll get a couple of animations of the paint. The 'blue roof' one shows the paint off well and it looks great!

Here's a picture of a 1940 Lancia Aprilia in Titanium Grey. Why, you might ask? Well it's got freestyle/suicide doors and that front end is kinda familiar if you squint a bit. Nothing new under the sun folks!

The C-pilar has slimmed down a bit over the years.
The 8 would have looked great in this wine color (minus the bows):
First seen in 1936, with production beginning the following year, the Aprilia broke new ground in several ways. Designed partially in the Turin Polytechnic wind tunnel, giving a drag coefficient of 0.47, it was one of the first mass produced cars to 'recognise' aerodynamics. Independent rear suspension was unusual for the time, and many features were utilised to keep the overall car compact, and the weight low. The body was a pillarless monocoque with four doors, powered by a narrow angle V4 engine of 1352cc capacity and generating 47bhp.
In 1939 the second series Aprilia was introduced, with a larger 1486cc engine producing 48bhp. A number of very small detail changes were also made, and the 'Lusso' specification of the first series became strandard on the second series cars including such items as the instrument panel.
Production continued until 1949, by which time 20,082 cars (and 7,554 chassis) had been built in Turin. A smaller number, around 700 (including both cars and chassis) were built in Lancia's factory in France.
One more in Titanium Grey:

I have always dreampt of buying a 1937 Cord, but they are prohibitably expensive. Thanks to your post I am VERY excited about buying a '37-49 Lancia Aprilia with the same Titanium grey color. It will go perfect with my new 1935 historic home that I am completely renovating and my 2004 RX-8.
I have seen prices between US$15-25k range. I just don't know how hard it's going to be to find one in the U.S. or how much it would cost to import.
Thanks Lensman for pointing out that what goes around, comes around...again.

I'm looking at the location of the lighter colored leather. It's positioned precisely where the hands should be for "spirited" driving. I wonder if that will effect the long term "look"...as I would imagine that part of the leather would get dirty/worn faster.

damn, the titanium gray looks awesome but yet like most of you said, it gives a different colour at different angles and sunlight/lighting.
I CAN'T DECIDE BETWEEN SUNLIGHT SILVER OR THE TITAN GRAY!!
