RX8 and a Truk....
Thread Starter
Thank you all VERY much! Today my wife and son (who are in the car for those pics) decided to take a drive to see what we saw. I found that corner - took 4 or 5 shots, and those were my favourite two. ![Smilie](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I've seen people do that; I don't care for it. Simple as that.
No offense taken.
Thanks - I use a Canon 20D, and for these pics, I shot with a 17-55mm f/2.8 IS. Both shots were ISO100, @ f/2.8. I'll have to get back to you on the shutter speed.![Smilie](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I wasn't parked on level ground.
The suspension was compensating to keep both the fronts and rears on the ground. :D
You guys should see those at 1200x807 - they carry even more 'warmth', IMO.
:D
Thanks again all!
darin
PS - If somebody splits airfare with me, I'd fly out and take pics of meets, and what not. :D Everything is negotiable!

But, not to burn on your ride, I think the clears would look a lot better if you removed the reflector so it would illuminate the entire marker. But, I'm one to talk, I don't even have clears.

I like the "mood" in the original, the dark, and almost magical feeling, but i still just had to touch it... i think it kind of loses that "mood" now, but IMO, on my monitor, it has a bit more punch. Of course, ymmv, your original pic was so outstanding that i could probably do anything to it and it would look good.

Thanks Cleo - I get what you're saying. In your rendition, it looks more like a sunny-day pic, than what it really was, overcast, and raining off and on. ![Smilie](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
What I could do is work on just the saturations of the orig, w/o touching over-all brightness. I could tone down the vignetting some, too, I suppose.
Thanks for the C&C

I like it. Either way, you really can't lose in the pic.

I thought the 2 of shaunv74's VR looked pretty good against the reds and oranges.
