What kind of rims are you getting? RPF1's, RP03's, or even the JS+M's look sick and they are all light.

 

havent decided on rims yet because if i go with the rx-8 calipers (which might happen soon) and rotors i need to get 18's at minimum for clearance...and i need to stay less than 17lbs per wheel (stock) because i am not trying to throw off the balance......i have only had the car a few days but there seems to be a ton of mods that i can do, stay in a good budget and make it a monster

RPF1's in 18x9.5 are 17.4 pounds each. Don't know if these are too wide though.

 

they fit if i stay with a high offset.....stock is +55 so i need to be near there

 

RX8 is hardly called a manly car though. Manly car would be a mustang or a dodge charger with chrome wheels which I hate with passion...

Don't get me wrong. I do not think RX8 as a "chick car" either. So don't go putting words in my mouth.

Cosworth is super cool. That would be a great power to weight ratio in a light-weight car that's still fantastic in the corners. I wouldn't worry about voiding the warranty on a Miata ... but recall that was part of the reason you got rid of the 8. Less confident in the 8's reliability?

That wheel gap has gotta go!

look at those springs and shocks... wicked. that upgraded suspension packaged looks damn worth it.
