Before & After - the Interior
Well, it's a semi-dreary day, so the pics I got of my new two tone interior are only so-so - but like a little kid at Christmas, wanted to take some and post some TODAY.
The color in the pics is not true - it's a charcoal grey (just slightly lighter than the Titanium exterior). The leather is textured to have a carbon fiber effect.
The last pic probably shows the texture of the leather as good as I'm going to get it in today's dreary light.

I have always liked the 2-tone interiors, but didn't think that the red/black or the chapparal/black looked "right" with the Titanium. A friend had the black carbon fiber done as inserts on the doors of his Acura, which led me to drop by the shop and see if they could do a 2-tone interior and to see leather/color swatches.
As part of the 2-tone install, they used some "memory" foam in the back and seats of the front buckets. Really feels good - and of course, I have that wonderful new leather smell to enjoy again.
I kept the original leathers - they are in excellent condition.

Wow Jill, you are really outdoing yourself!
Do you think you will ever run out of upgrades to do to your car?! I thought you had one of the best looking 8's at Sevenstock, and it looks like you are still trying to improve it.
Congrats!

I just got my two tone interior done as well--I've seen that carbon fiber pattern before and it looks good; I didn't care for it as much because it wasn't as supple as regular leather and it would not look right in my Nordic Green. Looks good though.

Also--did you add carbon fiber pieces? From the pics it looks like you added the console strips and door handles from Mazdaspeed as well as part of a kit on the front dash? Do you have more pics of those pieces.
