that GTR is a beast... but without weight reduction its just not set up for the touge. In a different style race... i'm sure it would do very well. I miss the old R32s... those were alot lighter and still very powerful. Kind of like the old EVO 3s and 4s.

I thought the comparisons to the FD were interesting. Nobody bothered to mention that the well equiped base 6 speed RX-8 actually stickers for 10 grand less than what a base manual tranny 95 RX-7 did. Ignoring a ten grand difference without even adding ten years of inflation?
Ok, but they did say the used car market for the RX-8 is promising considering how many have been sold new- if the car can be powered up to match the amazing chassis.

Hey, when I first saw this post, I thought it was a repost of the Japanese "Hot Version" DVD that I purchased almost a year ago when I was in Japan.
But now I realize there is actually a BMI English narrated & subtitled version too! I really recommend this DVD, a must have for any RX-8 owner. Hot Version - Rocket Rotary.

Top row, second from the left. It's called "Hot Version - Rocket Rotary", it's a fairly new release (in the US anyway).

I dont know if any of you guys seen the latest BMI video "New STI FAST ON 4".
If you see the end of that video where they show what will be on the next volume, I saw the The Fujita RX-8 again racing against a Skyline, NSX and a Z and I think the Fujita this time is FI'd.
They only showed a short clip of it, but it looked like it was keeping up with the rest of them. I can't wait for that volume to come out. I think its called Hot Version International 7.

I heard the next hot version is going to also have the Big Touge All Class Challenge. The Amuse S2k and Re-Amemiya FD will get to go head to head... GIGGIDY!!!
