did anybody REALLY expect an 8 to beat a fully modded S2K, a 500hp M5, or a 300hp 350Z, and so forth? I mean come on, the FEED RX-8 (NA version) probably would barely keep up also. And that's an awesomely setup NA 8.

It's like when they put the M5, M3, Galardo, and 911 against the NISMO Z-Tuned. Did anyone really expect any one of those cars to beat a Z-Tunes Skyline (yes I know the M5 has the same amount of hp as the Z-Tuned but there is a BIG difference in how those engines output)?

Now I will admit this though, the Z did pretty freakin good against a 500hp monster. The Z was holding it's own very well stock. I hope mazda see's this vid.

 

If they put Kurosawa Gan-san behind the wheel of the 8, it might have won in Rotary Reborn. Takuya is just too mellow with his driving.

 

Gan-san drive's like he stole it! he is the best driver of the group, he takes the car right to the cars limit

the feed RX-8 might have keep up with the others, anybody knows where we can find more recent lap times for tsukuba?
