2006. also, the car was dynoed at Corvettes of Dallas. My family friend bought it so I kind of have a connection there.... . I do need to check my plugs then, eh? What do you mean by them being colored brown, where would they be brown?

Alex, ur doin pretty good at that range IMO. Like others have said, u could go to another dyno in a another part of town and be at 180hp maybe even 185. Whats important is how it feels, and obviously it still feels great, so....

I will be hoppin up on the rollers soon for a session testing out some flashes. My car "feels" as good as it ever has, so whether it puts down 170 or 190 on that particular day at that particular dyno doesnt really make a diff to me. Only differences im looking for is with the flashes

I recall you talkin about ur hookup with Porsche (used tire hookup), now ur in with the Vettes too? Big timer.

Stop over someday and i will show u how to check ur plugs n all that. It will be easy for you cuz you have skinny arms and a wing span like Shaq

When you take the plug out, the side going inside the engine that tip will be brown.

its all good. the conditions can vary which can make the hp vary. you have to look at altitude, humidity, temp, and oxygen content in the air.

I have heard reports of 8's dyno'd at 165whp and the owners are none the wiser, stating the car feels as strong as ever, but i guess thats all relative.

^ exactly. just get it dynoed a couple times over the next couple weeks at different times and average the numbers. especially if you can do it for so cheap. also check the coils and plugs as previously stated
