thats why i love the show.. of course the plot is typically the same every episode. someone gets sick, do 3000 tests to find out what it is, greg has an epiphany while talking to someone else, solves the case. its all his dialogue that makes the show great.

That's it!!! I've figured it out. I know what is causing my manifolds to blow up.
It's the BHR Throttle Body Spacer!!!
If I didn't have it I wouldn't have blown up the manifolds.
I never blew up a manifold before I got the BHR Throttle Body Spacer. So that has to be it.

Yes, the big secret I have been keeping to myself is that the best place to mount the nitrous nozzle is BEFORE the MAF sensor in terms of airflow. Much better mixing that way and the MAF sensor is completely oblivious to turbulence around it.

OMG, Nitro BEFORE the Maf....

easy solution, and this is no BS.....a vaccume pressure switch....2 dollars at radio shack, i used one to cheat my old mazdaspeed protege fuel cutoff on my MAF. just have it intercept the TPS wire, and when there is enough vaccume, the switch will close and let the controller see the throttle wide open....i figure that is pretty easy, all you gotta do is hook it up to a VAC line on the manifold. just my 2 sense

Why not reprogram the injectors using throttle position?
It seems when you punch it at low RPM it builds up pressure too fast, so regulate the injector using the tables via Access Port.

It's the simple aspect that the UIM was designed to flow air and not liquid. Nitrous backfires are a danger in any vehicle when used in a non-direct port setup because of the UIM design.
Erick, it would be a benifit for us to look into a 2 stage system for you and experiment with that. If it's RPM based, we simply set the first stage to spray maybe 50% less and once you hit 3,500 or 4,000 it would kick over to pull spray.

Like Jeff always says, "I consider my job to be making stupid painful." The only thing experiencing pain in these cases is my supply cabinet as easy raids it for intake parts all the time!
