uh. as long as you rent more than 4-5 movies a month, the unlimited is the cheapest route to take.
regardless, the online/mail route isn't as nice as unlimited in store. Just go in and grab the tapes you want.

Read Blockbuster's 'No Late Fee' fine print. If you keep a movie more than a week they just charge your credit card for the whole movie!!!! If you bring it back in less than 30 days that's when they hit you with the "restocking fee." Just another scam.
The unlimited is good, but our stupid Blockbuster only has 1 copy of a LOT of movies. If some bozo rents one and forgets he's got for a month, the rest of us are just SOL! That's NOT cool. Someone on this forum mentioned Donny Darko (sp?). I went by just tonight and sure enough, their ONE copy is out! Who knows when it will actually come back in.

hollywood video has a 'MVP' subscription service where you can rent unlimited new release movies from their local store for 9.99 a month... a great deal if you have a Hollywood Video nearby and they stock up on new releases you want...

The restocking fee is if you keep it over the due date. For example if you rent a movie and it is a 2 day rental you have the 2 days + the 7 befor they charge you $1.25. Then 30 days from that point they charge you the price of the movie so you have in this case 38 days to return the movie befor they charge you to buy it. AND if you return it in 60 days they credit you the price of them movie back so you loose nothing.

I got netflix. Main reason: they carry pretty much anything ever released on dvd. TV shows (seasons)... etc.
