Hate to say, but for sake of opinion, to me the car looks to "blingy". Essentially the chrome and to many color combinations. I think you may have been better going with a gray or black...a nuetral color. But hey, that's me, there are lots of people who do like that. Most of all...I don't drive it, so ultimitely, it doesn't matter, but since you were asking opinions...

I'm not sure about chromed calipers--While they may normally look cool, with as much brake dust as our 8's accumulate, it may make them look ragged. You appear to have replaced the stock discs, though, so maybe it's a non-issue?

Yeah well.. whatcha gonna do.. A few people I know have seen it in person and they liked the blue.. guess it's all a matter of taste. I just wanted to try something different and see what blue would look like.. you wouldn't believe how hard it is to find a deep blue caliper paint.. I'll probably end up painting them black, quick and easy.. as soon as I find some time to take the wheels off again..

wow spelling is horrible, but whatever this is a car site not an English board. To me "less is more" you have WAY to many colors going on there. gray, red, white, blue, black. looks like a color wheel. but hey thats just me!

Agree. Blue is out there all by itself and sort of clashes with the other colors. I would go along with the others for a different color, but if you think it looks great and others do too then stay with it, or wait till you have some time to try a different color like silver or black or natural. Like the rotors.

The RX caliper tends to rust up after months of washing and driving so its not a bad idea to paint them as long as you don't get paint on the caliper shoes. I like the factory look too when its new and clean but that does not last too long though so something else needs to be done for appearance purpose mostly. I don't like the dirty rust look but that's the owner's issue.

Well, here are the pics of the black instead of the blue.. didn't strip off the blue, just painted over.. I suppose I'll try to save face and say the blue was a primer
