Thought that might be the case. Like I said, we just got rid of the styrofoam, it really doesn't do anything for the car and there is still a soft support underneath the styrofoam so the bumper won't be resting on metal. The shop may ask you if they can cut the styrofoam thickness in half or something like that because with this replica bumper it will not fit underneath. I'll leave that as your call.

As for the plastic piece, you mentioned that you can fabricate a solution yourself so I would plan for that. We just took a thick piece of rubber and made it the shape of what the plastic piece would be, then mounted it behind my screen/grill and it looks great.

I am sure the shop will do a great job. I am just offering up a few suggestions for them so when you get your car back, you won't have to do any adjustments yourself. Oh and if you want I can post a pic of what we did if you like. Good luck with your car!

I agree, just waiting on the clear corners to arrive, then they'll do the last fit, and then it's off to paint.

Oh, I know what you're saying. They talked to me about possibly having to cut it, but they had to wait for the side markers to come in to know for sure. I'm sure everything will turn out alright. I miss my authentic one so bad.
