Put the car in the garage and put the junk in the snow. I have garage envy. I have no garage. The 8 will be spending a lot of the winter storms underneath a car cover while I do my best snowmobile impression in the other car.

I've been driving my 8 all week in Calgary, and haven't run into any problems. I have my winter tires on, of course.

BTW, nice pics and good call giving the `8 the day off.
Yup - Snoqualmie. Not 'good' skiing...at least compared to some areas...but it's closeby for most of seattle. I don't ski, though...bad knees

Thanks! I've got about $5k, I'd guess, in st
uff in the garage. Problem is, I care more about that stuff than my car getting snowed upon.

VERY glad to read neither you, nor your baby were hurt, brother.

It's not a competition - but frankly, I'd trade YOUR weather for ours anytime. I prefer 'cold and snow' when it's winter...over what we typically get "Mild an rainy"

Thanks man - But pissing you off? I'm pissed off because the snow will be GONE by thursday afternoon. I'd love a foot or two of snow, for several weeks :D

P.S. Nice pics D!
Thanks! Venture out - do it!! Get pics/vids!! :D

What's the big deal about leaving the rx8 outside? I mean...it's a car, not a pet. :D

When/if I get the garage cleaned up this coming weekend, I'll move the 8 inside.

Yeah, enjoy that cold weather. In ATL, it was 65 degrees and I wore shorts and a shirt to school. Ahh, I love hot weather. I could never live where it snowed and was cold on a regular basis.

before...couldn't even move it in the driveway

YYEESSS, glad it's gone! I hope it's gone for a very long time =) I was able to drive around in my summer tires and go at least 70-75mph on the freeway. Thats all I can ask for-for my B-day.

DMP, I am impressed that you took the effort to walk around the house as you exited the front such that you do not leave footprints in the snow such that you would ruin your beautiful photo.

Cheers,
Andrew

If you show up on the 10th at XXX in Issaquah we can do one (frosty rootbeer that is!)... so that's Kristopher, Ryan, you, me... and I'm not sure who else has a winter BD. And I just found the calendar and see you on it, but it shows you're turning 84 Gosh, you look good for your age!

Salt Lake normally gets a ton of snow, but i haven't gotten to try out the new snow tires yet. Just a short 15 minute drive from my house are all the ski resorts. They got over 2' of snow the last day or two.

Great picture of the snow BTW! Excellent photography skills.

I'm in January. Surely that counts as a winter b-day.

Absolutely! What day? I'm at the end of December - day after xmas. Too bad it's such a long way for you to go - it would be fun to have another female on our drive on Dec. 10th.

The 29th. And, if you give me details I can probably make it up December 10. According to my calender (unless I can't read after 12 hours of work today) it is a Sunday, which is my day off, and so is Monday!!!!

At the peak of our storm - I drove the 8 by three rollovers on Highway 12. The PZero Neros grabbed quick nicely until I came upon the State Patrols flares - a portion in Centeral Park was like glass. I was sliding at 5 MPH - freaked the ever living **** out of me - the kind of freak that cramps your back muscles.

Made it through with no scrapes except under the car - I am low enough to high center on 3.5" of snow.
