I just finished conduit/pulling wire. Now I get to play with the main panel! After a few HVAC quick changes, I can hang drywall (will bid that out, I HATE taping/mudding). I promised it would be done before the holidays and I only work on it over weekends.

I like the fender strikes too, but read on a thread they have a tendancy to corrode. Anyone in snowy climates had issues with that? Apparently there's a guy in the UK who does stanless steel versions.
Hey fellow shinka - clear corners is one of the more less expensive mods you can do and only takes 15min to do.....and it definitely is a must with a shinka

I wanted to get an idea of how many of us Shinka owners have, or are going to get personalized plates. Also let me know what they say. I am trying to decide what moine should say.

Thanks!

*Edit: Also please post the state your car is registered in. (Thanks Tyler8)

http://www.rx8-accessories.com/rx8-accessories.html

I received my set last week so it's my project to put them on this Saturday before the Columbus rx8 Ice Cream social on sunday.

I used my paypal account to buy them so the transaction was a piece of cake. Shipping was included for 73 GBP (about 130 USD) and they arrived in a little over a week.

The strakes are very nice and come with detailed installation instructions. Polished stainless so they shouldn't corrode at all.

Vandrs: You need to get clear corners and a better fitting batman suit.

PS: I still need to order clear corners for my Shinka, too.

I just bought mine and the dealer wouldn't do Vanity plates. So a seprate trip to the DMV is coming up. In ILL you have a 7 letter max and get three possible picks. I'm thinking in this order:
GR8
ITS GR8
ITS GRR8

I'll take thoughts, but no flames please.

Heck no, a better fitting batman suit is WAY more important.

:D

PS: How do you see over the dashboard in the eight? I didn't think the seats adjusted that far up -- or maybe you've got a batphonebook (tm) that you use. :D

PPS: BTW, your opening quote markup is correct but the closing quote markup shouldn't have the "=Tyler8" in it.

Yeah, I got a little aggressive on the edit and then MANUALLY retyped the close w/o paying attention. I guess I could have edited it.......

I think I was right behind ya Umbra!! got mine on the 10th of March.....ordered the Tag as soon as I got the permanent registration....got the Borla put on about a month later.....no more performance mods though....waiting till next year to do a Greddy turbo with an interceptor x ems (unless something better comes out in the meantime) so Im not gonna do a CAI etc....would be a waste of $...

Oh my, I think my hubby and I saw your plates. I guess it was the one day we were shopping in NC for a generator.

Ya, Shinka was already taken here in FL so I went with Shinka 8. I'm anxiously awaiting them!

You came all the way from Florida for a generator?? My wife has relatives in Havana and Jacksonville. We've been down there a couple of times. Very nice.

You must have seen us just recently, 'cause we only got the plates a couple of weeks or so ago.

We have relatives in both NC and SC, and we decided to evacuate for hurricane Dennis.

Side note, I finally got my plates in!
