I don't know exactly w/out looking at my invoice. I got the dealership to do all my mods before the car was delivered. I will have to look and get back to you. I got a good deal because I traded in my Mazdaspeed protege and they actually sold it before I agreed to buy my RX8. The dealership bent over backwards to make me happy.

Here are some pics of Sakura-chan from our local Rotary club meet. I like the contrast compared to the VR 8 and to the FDs.
You can also see some of the other photos I took at the meet at my Web site.

Nice pics Bullithockey! The reflection of the trees on your car is great. You must wash it or something. Poor Sakura-chan probably doesn't remember what that is!

Bought my Shinka at the end of '05 and have been waiting for clear corners ever since. They arrived and my Shinka got rear ended. So I waited for that to be fixed too. I like all of the Shinkas on this thread. Here is mine:

Also wish I could've taken the pictures in a nice setting but various parking places (and bad lighting) will have to do as I just got the car back and I am leaving for London in an hour. Perhaps more later...

Yes, I finally got mine.
I am now the PROUD owner of a Black Cherry Shinka! After tons of online research I found the one. I was sold on the aluminum console and dash trim, rear spoiler and milage (only 7600). Having never seen the car in person prior to purchasing (out of state) I was a lilttle nervous. I picked it up two days ago and when I first saw the car it was fresh off the truck it shipped on and it was caked in several layers or dirt and dried up slush---disgusting! There has been really bad weather in the midwest lately so I kinda understood. After immediately taking it to a quality car wash I was impressed and felt much better about my purchase. This car is simply stunning and I am looking forward to nicer weather. I will post some pics soon.
ps. This community is awesome and has already been a huge help.
