Taka, you post up some great shots. I know you're not taking them, because you're the one inside the car enjoying what most of us can only dream of doing. The red lugs looks awsome at those speeds. :)

Here's me, leading one of our groups through the canyons in Malibu, getting some love from the Lambo website. :) Thought it was cool they took a pic of me, and posted it on their site. They were parked along the side of the road to take a picture of their 13 lambos...all the same model (which I don't know which one)...but it was an amazing site.

That looks cool. Were they moving when they had their doors open?

Oh, I thought that he said something about acknowledging them or something. Oh well, it's still pretty cool.

Dont know whether you ment the Volks or the Axis wheels. Since I will assume you meant the Volks...here's a couple. Let me know if these wet your whistle or if you need a different angle.
Now, if you were referring to the Axis wheels, you would have to see what Xrider01 has.

those rims are great man! it was the ones i liked more, but i wanted to reduce the unsprung weight...

RX8 ZOOM ZOOM,

They are not special orders. I simply got bored one night and took out the centre caps and mask the mazda logo - and then spray paint them. They are actually red :D:

No need to dream tracking your car - just DO IT!

If you were in Melbourne Australia ... you will be in the track by now. I set up a group of trackie anonymous - and we have session meetings - on the race track

More pics coming... when my server start functioning normally

I came very close to ordering a Brilliant Black. I was wavering until the last minute. In the end I chose Sunlight Silver.

My first Miata, 1998 (model year 1999) was Brilliant Black. Four years I loved that colour, but it was SO... MUCH... WORK... Swirls appeared with a vengeance despite tremendous care and careful dry cloth selection. The car looked old before its time.

I'm 35. My enthusiasm for endless cleaning and polishing has waned.

Jedi54 04-12-2006 02:49 PM

Great looking pictures Taka!
haha, your car looks SO much like mine...if it weren't RHD, I could probably convince people that was me driving. :wiggle:

xrider01 04-12-2006 02:55 PM

^^ that and he's got european style plates ;)

Just invert the picture  horizontally.

Yeah euro plate. There is a custom real euro style for A$600. No way I would do it. Although the queen came to Melbourne last month for the Commonwealth games did boost the sale a bit.

I was bored and made a wall paper for myself. Not as good as the last person made for me 2 years ago... but I guess time for a change.

UFGator12 04-16-2006 03:56 PM

You have the best pictures on this website if you ask me. Or maybe it's because you have the best color... I don't know, probably both. What do you use to get your car looking that good?

takahashi 04-16-2006 07:56 PM

Thanks.
It is certainly not my car but my photographer.
https://www.rx8club.com/showpost.php...&postcount=368 - in this link - this is his work - after taken the photo, the pic has gone through some artisitic touch up to make it look good. It is a combination of levels adjustments, burn and dodge tool.

Look at www.rx-8.mazda.co.jp. Look at their flash site - and concentrate on photo only. If you take those in real life they will never comes out like so - there is a lot of levels, sharp tool, and even repaint to make it that good.

If you see my car in real life - you will see a lot of stone clips from all the track days I have been to.
