Calling All Galaxy Grays!!
#5
I saw one up close and personal, I don't like titanium gray very much, but I found myself thinking... I could definately go for this. it has a strange color change effect in the sunlight, just like the phantom blue (which in all reality is green)

For you guys that haven't seen the Galaxy Gray, it has a very high mica content and does change color depending upon the sun. On overcast days, it has a very blue hue to it. In direct sunlight, it sparkles with a hint of red........

question about waxes (or should I post this elsewhere),
I slathered on a heavy coat of Mcquires Gold before this pics were taken simply to protect the car as I really hate car detailing stuff.
Would it make a difference to do a better job with Zaino?? (while I still have the motivation). And would I have to strip the current wax or just apply the Zaino on top???

The M.Gold wax will protect it, however personally feel that the Zaino gives it a longer lasting and more depth finish to it. It is worth the time and money.
And yes it is best to remove the older wax before putting the Zaino over it. Take a afternoon off, put some music on and you'll appreciate the results.

It's a nice color, but I saw it in person this morning and it really doesn't strike me as being enough different from Ti. If it wasn't for the sticker in the window that proclamed the color, I would have figured it for Ti.
Phantom blue is a nice sounding color, but I wasn't digging it. It looked way too turquoise for me. Reminds me of the old necklaces my grandma has. Maybe if I was a chick I'd buy it.
I want varity of colors. Not slight variations of preexisting ones.
PS: no offense meant to anyone who has a phantom blue.

I saw one of these pull up near me at a stop light and it looks really good when the light hits it, it looked like a light blue RX-8. I think this is the best looking color for the 8, if I ever get another 8 this will be the color. Sweetness
