Calling all Lightning Yellows

Whats up Rotor heads.. I Am the owner of a yellow 8 and I am "going thru it" picking paint schemes... I wanted to get a differnt take on two tone black and yellow.. I have seen some pretty interesting paint jobs, but alot of them are very very similar. im trying to do something unique. This is one of the reasons I chose the wheels that I did. For those curious about the wheels, I put 20in "status grinder s815" wheels and the tires are 245/30/20.. I am debating on keeping the color solid yellow or to go with some kind of paint scheme. s/n I will be putting a 1 of kind body kit on when it get painted... Thank you for your input

Honestly I like the ideas for the rims. Definitely not something you see everyday and that's a plus in my book. I'd say keep the black center on there with the yellow it really stands out! I say props to anyone who is that passionate about their car and puts that much effort into making it unique. Even if the body kit isn't "one of a kind" who cares it's gonna look amazing on your LY. Keep up the modding buddy and can't wait to see pics of it done.

If you've got the cash, a lot can be done to a LY - besides the same ol' same ol'.

I've had piaa super rozzas in hyper black on my 8 since they were released. thought about selling them, but still think they look awesome. so i decided to have them re-barreled, re-lipped and polished in hyper silver. the goal is a more aggressive look with a much deeper lip.

Rx8tom i acctually ended up with a similar Scheme to yours...
Turned out pretty good... I went back to the stock rims.
Ill Keep it like this for a while and see what else I can come up with.

Seibon KS. Seibon used it on their face book, I guess first 8 they have posted.
Here are a few pics from Another Level 2012. Most people didn't catch the rear mount(try to lay mirrors down you can see from the front to gain curiosity) but some decent pics are floating around and pry video. Took home best Mazda
so pics of the new oil cooler set up
messing with welding thin stuff to test out the new machine for fun (razor blades and pop cans and stainless)
