I really like this color. Parked next to a Liquid Silver 3 today, it's actually pretty close to Titanium Gray. Too bad the R3 doesn't come in this color.
Since there are not many posts for Liquid Silver, here are some pics shortly after my 2010 Sport purchase. Standby for some better ones with a decent background and tinted windows...really a must for this car. Getting some Zaino (AIO & CS) in next week to keep that silver shining.
Wow! It looks really, really sharp!!!! This color really sets off & compliments the color of the wheels. Considering this color myself, but have never seen one on the lot or street yet! Thanks for the pics. Also just curious, since you just got it, did the dealer give you a pretty good deal?
Mike, I did get a good deal on the car. I maybe could have even gotten more, but it ended up being about $1500 under invoice along with the factory Rx-8 cover thrown in. The car only had 25 miles on it after being on the lot for a month....not many test drives or demand right now.
This thread is an obvious attempt for new RX-8 owners to distance themselves away from the Silver curse. Calling the car "Liquid Silver" won't save it. Just a warning...
Some pics on a cloudy day after Zaino Z-AIO & CS application. Had the windows tinted (30% side, 15% small side & rear) along with applying my F1 sticker. What a great car...even though she is a daily driver, she stays happy under her cover all day while at work.
Yep, all 2010s have the Mazda badge removed. I'm still not sure if that is a good thing or not...? It does feel like some other badge should be on left side to compliment the RX-8 badge.

ohhh alright. yeah it seems kind of wierd to me too
I disagree with the silver curse.
This maybe only happen more often in CBD --> more concrete building surrounded?
Back in New Zealand, I owned 2 silver car and no accident happened,
but with my 2 British green cars, they both got hit hard by careless drivers.
That might because of more green tree/field there?
Anyway, here is my new ride.
(Mazda dealer in Aus named it Aluminium Silver instead, but I guess they are the same color)
All these pics make me want to wax my silver RX-8 but I don't have the free time right now. I would take it to an auto detailing shop but I've never been impressed with the results and always felt I could do better myself.
This thread was super helpful when I was trying to figure out which silver I wanted back in 2018. Of the two I feel this one is the best. I feel it shows off the lines of the car better.
