It is fresh, the original owner put less than 20,000 miles on it and always parked in a garage. Sad to admit it but under my ownership it will also spend most of it's life in the garage but I did manage to put 500 miles on it after purchase.
So after some time searching for a good wheel to match the paint the car is now running on some Gunmetal grey that make me think of spider legs every time I look at them.
Northzone, what wheels are those, and specific size/offset? I love the look!

Getting harder to find low mileage, good condition RX-8's!
Found an '08 Stormy Blue GT with 44K miles in beautiful shape though! Just had new coils, wires, plugs & battery installed, and a compression test run...score!

Grats! That's a great car for sure- last model series 1, loaded, low miles and in good shape. Whenever I was looking for RX's all the stormy blue I came across had loads of miles. Like 100k plus.

Did you buy?
Sure did! Added 1K miles in about 3 weeks...working on the tips "Spending your first $100 on the RX-8". The CEL for the coolant tank was on, so I swapped that out for new last weekend. Heading to Deal's Gap in about 2 or 3 weeks

Enjoy! They are fun cars for sure and I don't think they are as bad in the maintenance dept. as some people claim, maybe series 1 more so but still not bad.
Here's my stormy blue. Need to get a better photo that both shows off the color of the car as well as being able to see the whole thing. Really like Brettus' photo.
With the winning blue crew always bumping their thread up (yea I know they are "winning" LOL) thought I should post something. Would need a course to work out how to take better pics. Drove it often to my favorite store in the background but while typing this up was thinking I should be going to one on the other side of town just to enjoy the drive more.

Northzone,
Those wheels again! Your pictures make me want to buy them for my driveway bound SBM 8, before I even buy the parts to build the engine for it!
Everyone has their own taste with wheels, but you definitely chose well with those. Best ones I have seen on a SBM car, by far. I noticed you did have it on the road with stock wheels prior, did you notice the weight difference at all after you put these on? I am assuming the tire got more meaty as well.
Thanks for the compliment on the wheels, I like them too. LOL. I didn't notice any difference in the wheels and since they are the same18x8 the rubber was just switched over from the stock rims. The stock ones are now used as summer rims on the 6. FYI Winter rims will be on sale now if you want to buy them at Canadian overly high pricing, I would make arrangement to ship them.
