Just a one more test shot from my driveway. I can't wait for Spring to get my wheels and MS bumper back on.

ok figured i would ask here, dont want to deal with the thousand + paged will it fit thread and if no one answers here thats fine, but if your bored....

will 18 x 8 plus 35 offset fit without any fender rolling/spacer? I know absolutely nothing about offsets or wheels for that matter.

im liking the rota torque's but not sure on what finish either? any VR suggestions?

Maybe. It also depends on the tire size. If you go with a stock tire at 225/45/18 you might be safe with that offset. Also note that not all tires are the same. You also have an option to adjust camber when you do an alignment.

I went a safe route with my wheel/tire combo because I had the much larger setup before and even with rolled fender I rubbed. My current setup is 18x8.5 +46
with 245/40/18 and 5mm spacers in the rear for that little extra. No rubbing at all.

I had the same setup as alzorz. Same wheel/tire size. I rolled the rear fenders but this area in green can not be cut or rolled since it's a welded section and holds the rear bumper on. If you move the inner liner out you will see what I mean. That's where it rubs the most.

ya alt im not entirely sure, but i think that the tires that i will need to put on the new rims are

245/40/18 as well, but they were on the car when i got it so not enitrely sure and i put them in a storage unit so i cant double check so it would be a

18x8 + 35 wrapped with
245/40/18

im not confident enough to do the fender rolling myself especially after watching your vid lol but should i look at different offsets or you think i will have no prob?

Got alignment today and it seems that I was able to get away without getting a roll. The alignment isn't aggressive by all means either. I did ask them to dial in some camber on the front wheels to tuck them in a bit, at the expense of tire life. I told the guy that I didn't mind having to pay for the roll if I had too.. he said it wasn't going to be necessary. He did ever so slightly fold up the fender lip in a sort of U to ease my worries a bit. After driving it back home I have to agree with him.. I think I rubbed once on the way back home and that was a huge dip in uneven pavement.. but other then that nothing. He said to come back if it starts to bother me and we'll do the real thing.

The guy who did the work on my car said the exact thing. Pointed out that spot where the bumper and the frame meet and said that a roll would obviously not completely work because of that.

I got them from LSD Motorsports.. if you check eBay they have some good deals.

kk ill look into there as of now i have been looking at this site

http://www.jlbmotorsports.com/rims/rota-list.html

so you think i will be ok with the tire/wheel combo because yours were 8.5"w correct?

edit: if i decide to go with the torques i like the gloss block w/ polished lip look like your old setup alt so i think this is finally what i am deciding on assuming they fit.

alz0rz, could just be the pics but it seems the spokes stick out further then the wheel itself. If so then be even more careful parallel parking.

right they do, by design. they designed them as Advan RS knockoffs, and the Advan's have the spokes slightly out as well.. heh.

Haha, that's why I never parallel park. Luckily I have only had to do it twice in the past 3 years. However I had some idiot force me into a curb once. Yea...this was an expensive replacement.

Not sure if it was a he or she because it was late at night, but their car swerved over into my lane, thus I was forced to take drastic action. Luckily I am always paying attention to my surroundings and got out of the way in time. I much rather pay for a new wheel than a major accident.

Dude, they are hacks. First off just look at how bad the website is. I'd never buy from a company with a site that poorly designed. Second, always check the copyright on the bottom. In this case, Copyright 2006! Just goes to show they don't do much. Lastly, they most likely import all the information from a separate database into their storefront so that is why some info is incorrect.
