Thanks man, they are Shine Type-II side skirts. Fitment is perfect and when compared side by side to KS burnouts from Japan they were 95% identical. The authentic are better though because all of the hardware is included and they are a bit stiffer. But that doesn't mean much when installed since we made copies of the KS hardware. I am impressed.
I have an authentic Mazdaspeed bumper in the garage and I really wanted something from Japan like Knightsports or Mint Blue but I just could not justify paying more for shipping than I would for the actual part. And what's available in the US is just sad aside from the Vertex, Mazdaspeed (limited) or the Racing beat Type II and the Vertex and Mazdaspeed has been over done and the Racing beat is not available for a while. I do like the C West kit though so we shall see.
But for now this combo will work. We shall see how quickly they get destroyed

Glad to see the side skirts worked out well 9k. I have been debating whether I want to try a front end from them but I'm so scared it will turn out like crap.

Shadycrew just got a bumper from them, it's legit. The fitment of the Shine stuff I have seen has been damn near perfect honestly. And I do not like supporting replicas but there is just no reasonable way to get new authentic stuff with spending a crap ton on shipping and waiting months for stuff to arrive. Even the Mazdaspeed stuff is gone. People list a lot of stuff but when you actually try and buy it's gone.

This is such a great thread. I've been subbed for a while. I draw a lot of inspiration from seeing how you guys have modified your VR 8's. I've been thinking though, I love the MS kits and seeing quality aftermarket front bumpers/kits. But I just can't bring myself to swap from the stock front end. When I first got the car I HATED it, but it's grown on me so much. That stupid smile doesn't even bother me anymore. I think as far as aesthetics go I'm gonna stick with a drop, wheels and a lip.

Satin red? Oh no. Yeah my problem is with the shipping as well. I want the Knightsports kit but it would be close to $4,000.00 shipped, before paint. The legsport hood I want works out to about $2,000.00 shipped.

The satin is just an idea at this point that nobody else but me likes so that's gonna be my answer until I actually get it painted. It will be red but not VR. I won't be able to post here anymore.

I've seen a satin red (plasti-dip I assume) RX8 with a FEED rep. kit at a show in orlando a few years ago. Satin red actually works on the car if it's not half assed. I even thought about plasti dipping over the winter to keep the salt/brine off my paint. Never could bring myself to do more than just my badges haha.
