A few pics from my drive down part of the Blue Ridge Parkway on Friday. It started out with some light rain and fog but cleared up for most of the drive. I started at the beginning in VA and got off the parkway around Boone, NC.
Thanks, I got it used a little over a year ago. It is a 10ft car, up close there are plenty of flaws. It really needs a paint correction and the wheels refinished. It has some small damage to both bumpers too but I don't think it is worth having them resprayed.
The rear is a little low in the pics because the trunk is crammed full of crap, normally it sits perfectly even.
That said, you can tell the car is built in Japan. The paint might be chipped or scratched, but the finish is still so nice. All the panels sit nice and flush, unlike my previous American-built Accord Coupe that had the hood not perfectly flush.
Sometimes I want an R3, but I also enjoy the heated leather seats of my GT in winter(even though it's not that cold here), and a moonroof is just sooo nice to have in summer.

In the pics it looks fantastic! Can't tell one bit. Both of my 8's are 10 footers for sure, but as stated above, all of the panels line up wonderfully and for being original paint, they both do shine up nicely.
I bought another VR RX-8 today, but this time a 2010 R3. The dealer was selling it for $4,000 so I put $1,000 down and got a loan for the remainder and the paperwork got finalized and check to the dealer has been expedited, so I should be picking it up tomorrow There are many reasons for the price being so low as it's in overall poor shape, has a rebuilt title and has 131,000 miles on it, but it's the new base for my build which was a 2004 GT that I series 2 swapped, but decided not to finish as I am simply just done with it. Everything that went into that car will be transferred over to this R3 including the S1 OEM mazdaspeed front and rear panels (not a fan of the S2 look as much as the S1 Mazdaspeed stock look). But until I get it back to Utah in about a year this will be my putt around base on hot days car lol (still have my RX-7 to daily too)

Banzai-racing.com does this web page of the work they do for you and post them on their site. Mine is up although it's a preliminary page since they haven't started the work yet. Can't wait for the updates.
Thought I would upload two shots of my car. Don't have any more summer pictures, since it is winter right now. Currently have the TRUST Power Extreme Titanium on it as well, so I can upload more pictures of it with the next exhaust come summer time!
