Bastage, which caliper paint did you use? Do you have any closer shots of calipers & body paint?

It's spray on caliper paint (Duplicolor). I bought it at Advance Discount Auto Parts for like $8 a can, which is more than enough to put two coats on all 4 calipers. I painted them back in October I believe, so it's only been about 5 months, but they still look like when I originally painted them, and they clean easy (just wipe them off).

I HIGHLY recommend painting your rotor hubs (silver) while you're at it. I wish I had painted mine when I did the calipers (especially now that they're much more visible with the new wheels.

The paint looks a little lighter blue than the car in the picture, but it's mostly the flash from the camera. If you see them in person, it matches almost perfectly.

Looks like a good paint job, just a shame they're ugly calipers! Not much we can do about that though, without spending a mint.

There's a guy on this forum that sells RX-8 decals/stencils that you could use to make them look a little better. I don't think they'd stand out enough on the blue to be worth it, but someone painting them black or red might consider them.

im sorry i have to agree =/ ^^ To much chrome. Loose the fuel door and handles and it will look much better.

I think I'll stick to aluminum or possible bronze colors. If I go with black it would be the glossy black w/ chrome like the one in DonJuanMair's sig.

Riced out pimp crap!!! Thats a little excessive don't you think??? A roof scoop and flame seat covers from pep boys are in the riced out pimp crap category.... Nukes car is NO WHERE NEAR that level... I think his car is well done... The lip is effin gorgeous... Im not a fan of the chrome accents but its not excessive and he didn't put them on the car... They were on there when he bought it.... And when he gets the rest of the CF pieces on its going to look pretty damn hot!
