I remember my first car was a 1992 3000GT VR-4... I wrecked it like 2 months later even with AWD... I slid right off the road going like 60 mph in a turn, totaled it. So all I can say is take a driving lesson before you start tearing it up.. and make sure you have good insurance.. lol.

bi-xenon is a xenon projector headlight that can be used as both low beam and hi beam by changing the optics inside the projector. There are also projector headlights that swivel when the wheel is turned. Two completely different things. These are options on high end cars, and neither is available on the RX-8 even in the Japanese market, unless it's some secret that they don't put on any options websites. I imagine you are talking about the autoleveling feature that the xenon headlights in the RX-8 has.

It just reminds me of when I was a kid and was learning how to ride a bike, I wasn't allowed in the street so I had to ride in the driveway and around the yard. Just a real funny image of the 8 with training wheels.

It's going to be a shame when that rare yellow 8 is in pieces.

Excuse you, BASTARD. I take SERIOUS offense to comments like this. I am 16, a fairly new driver (6 months) and I just purchased an RX-8. Try to AVOID confusing retards and drivers! Just because we are young does NOT mean we have no driving skill whatsoever.

******* idiot..

And no, my mommy and daddy didn't buy it for me. I work for my ****. I hope yours ends up in peices just for being an *******.

I remember getting bashed here when I was getting my rx8 (almost two years ago when I was 18) =D Yes, it was my graduation present.

Love this car so much

been through a lot with this car, and they're all good memories

trouble free from the day 1
never had a problem with my baby except condensation in a fog light

and I STILL SAY SCREW THE CURSE OF THE SILVER
it can't get me

Congrats on your car

treat her with care and love
and she will not leave you

Ha, this thread has everything - a lucky kid, a few people angry at the boy for being lucky, a youg buck with serious emotional problems, a Napoleon Dynamie quote, adaptive bi-xenon headlighs (actually quite helpful when navigating around the landscaping at dusk) and a little bit of JDM mixed in for good measure. Somehow, someway, somebody needs to throw in a comment about a certain Chrysler.

I thought this thread was going to make my soul sad, but it's really quite entertaining.
