Crap!...I now have to drive in the snow
Yes, no more blasts aound my favorite corners with car reving freely ...snow is here. My traction contol is getting a nice workout now. Its not as invasive as I thought it would be. It allows for some slippage before kicking in. I put on some Blizzack LM-22's, they seem to work well.
Even in this crap weather I'm still getting lots of compliments on the car. Twice now I've gotten a discount at the gas pump from young guys that like the car even though I don't have one of the gas stations point cards. Membership (RX8) has its privileges.

The window was open because my 6 year old daughter was back there. My kids love to play with those windows because they that they can get away with it not like in our other vehicle where I can lock the windows.
Petro-Canada has those Petro-points for free gas..the guy just swipes a store card and takes the discount off....these guys are just young punks, I doubt they own a car.

I see. Lucky you. I heard you guys got hit with a lot of snow. Normally it is the other way around . Us, newfie folks always get the snow first. Oh well, I am not going to complain lol. I am lucky enough to be able to store my car during the winter. It wouldn't take very long before I end up in the ditch or something because I don't have traction control.

I've always wondered, does snow cause significant damage to the cars paint job? I'm aware that the salt on the roads causes rusting, but when its freezing out, I don't think I will be able to wash my car for a few months, and it will be outside all the time. Should I be worried?

I really dont mind driving much on the snow...I dont love it either. I've had my Camaro for about 5 years and it just makes me a more careful driver. I just dont like having plow/salt trucks driving the opposite direction and blasting the side of my car with some salt
