There was a huge thunderstorm last night and a huge ******* branch fell right in my parking spot. I am soo lucky that I decided to spend the night at my girlfriend's house or else my car would have been fucked! Scarier still is that I currently only have liability insurance on my RX8. Attached are some pix of the close call when I drove up this morning.

Hmmmm, night at girlfriends or big branch landing on your 8?? I think you made the correct choice. Glad it didn't hit the car, I would hate to see another one all banged up. The 8 is such a beautiful car and I see way to many of them smashed, cracked, or crashed on here!

For the RX-8 it is, plus I have been in trouble for driving w/o insurance before, so I'm waiting for my SR22 to expire before I even thinking about upgrading insurance.

The plus side is that after I emailed these pix to my landlord, she told me she's gonna try to get me a different spot with no trees around.

The whole incident is a very rare thing. The tree is actually the neighbor's, who claimed that nothing like this has happened in the 12 years she has owned the property. ******* global warming!
