I agree, the doors arent for everyone, but, i have enjoyed them and their uniqueness. Along with that extra edge you need a the car shows.

My plans in the works now are an inverted hood, with removable monitor, x the PS2 and install a Nintendo Wii.

I have one more amp to install, which will go behind one of the back seats, where i will have an actuated flipdown back seat to display them in a lit amp rack, along with a NOS purge system 3- 2.5lb bottles behind the other seat. Two button remote will make the rear seat backs fold forward and display the amp rack for the subs as well as the NOS system behind the other seat.
You have deep pockets~!!

Jedi54,

the Ti shows exactly what i meant by alot of work on the ED kits. the waves in the lip where the hood meets the front, as well as the holes in the corners that i had to fill in and mold a tip because there was a big hole there as shown in your pic. the hole is a triangle next to the head light on the right and left sides.

On my front piece i had to cut the entire front lip off and mold it to the right angle as well as reinforce it with several layers of fiberglass. Otherwise it would have never bolted on straight. I also had to reinforce the openings at the bottom, because they are warped and not flat as shown on the Ti.

i opted for the billet grille which i ordered in a blank and cut to fit all of the openings, including the ones directly under the headlights.

it is a unique and different kit, but, looking back now, i might have opted for something from racing beat. it definitely gets attention here in southwest OK.

doing all the work myself, along with help from friends helps with the costs. I only paid $450 for the Raven Kit and spent probably over $1000 worth of man hours with a friend of mine, making it look right and good.

not a fan of the doors or a gaming console in the 8 (suv maybe for the kids to play, but other than that, pointless). and I like the bose system the 8 already comes with, so the subs are a waste. other than that... spiceeeeeeeh!

BTW, the doors were installed by a friend of mine trying to get started in the VD scene with other kits, it was his second kit to install. After some work, he got all the body lines straight. He is also the shop i bought the Motegi's and Nitto's from.
The rest of the work, with the exception of the help i got with the body kit, is done by myself, stereo, metal work (aluminum) lighting (LED) and lightning discs all fabricated by myself.

amazing what you can do with a scroll saw, oil, and wood.

i just finished installing my ED front bumper. it looks good now but there was ALOT of work on mine too. i had a crack in it and when i tried to chip it out to repair it there was a 6" wide air pocket, the kit was HOLLOW. i fixed it and reinforced the whole thing. yours looks good too, good luck with it

06Carbon8,

which kit did you get from ED? mine had at least 20 hollow pockets from that size to the size of a pencil in both the front and the sides. i do like the flexiblity of the kit, the duraform does take curbs well and doesnt crack as easily as fiberglass.

They could have spent a little more engineering time in the molding of the sidemarker holders. looked as if they stood back and threw some fiberglass resin at it!

This 8 looks like a Pontiac RX-8 Sunfire to me.
