custom single tip exhaust

for those of you who asked for pics...

please excuse the dirty car... and the dents in the canister already. ive adjusted it so that the exhaust no longer hits the ground. the heat shield is also a prototype. my final one will be black. i just eyeballed this one with sharpie and cut it out with a dremel tool.

its a true 3" system from the headers back. i added a 600CFM metalic high flow cat after a few weeks because i was getting some major fireballs at night and i didnt want to risk getting a ticket. plus this car really, REALLY stinks without one.

thanks kwestcott for the pics!

thats hella nice, my teacher at school said that I should do it like that, however I decided to do this:

http://www.eautoworks.com/productimages/HKS_300NEW.jpg

full titanium, I have a spare bumper at the house, the exhaust is almost done. I was thinking of doing a full 3 inch. But I decided that I wanted it to be a little less loud. Im going to put a butterfly valve on the end of the Cat. at least I can cut the noise down a little.

man that exhaust looks nice. just get a custom job done to fill out that bumper to make it look right. looks good. I like when people do REAL custom work!!

Oh, and what road is that? Forest pass signs are usually signs of a good road

i was only able to see it from my rear view once. i was downshifting and breaking hard comming down from the freeway. i had a green so i was still going pretty fast but ended up catching a yellow. i usually see a few yellow flashes on the side walls of the freeways and in the cars behind me but this time, i actually saw the tip of my flame over the trunk. but on a few occations, ive had women and teens roll down their windows down to tell me my car was on fire.

to be honest, this exhaust with the stock cat shouldnt be that loud. without it htough, hehehe.. i have to run a silencer. the sound is very unique though. it sounds different from any other NA rotary ive ever heard. any of you sanberdu guys know how to make a sound clip?

lesper- i dont think ill finish it by this weekend. i have to adjust my rear suspension and if i screw up my alignment too bad... i have to fix that too. i also have to track prep my bike for vegas.

I mean I think it is in a neat location and all, but the tip sure does look very similar to those Honda ricers. But, if you like it, then that's great!

^I agree. Though I would not segment Honda as the only "rice" enabled folk.
