The first thing I noticed was the hole made for the intake because i've always been a bit crazy over XDEEDUBBX's car... Unfortunately it is one of the only mod's on either car that I don't really appreciate.

I just don't find that the car really benefits from it (appearance-wise) and one day I was looking at DEE's for sale thread and the Master Technician at the Subaru dealership I work at seen it and couldn't understand what the idea behind it was as there is only so much air that the intake can handle in the first place, and in his opinion it wouldn't improve the air flow to the intake whatsoever. I wanted to argue with him at first, but this guy is in charge of overseeing every major repair or adjustment made to every Subaru that comes to the dealership, aswell as being an actual rally competitor.

I still think this car looks awesome, and DEEDUB's car is still absolute sex, but i'll no matter what I end up doing to the car, I just can't see me making that same hole in my stock bumper as I don't think is flow properly. (No offense to DEE as I think his RX8 is one of the nicest i've ever seen, and i've always though that)

thanks for the comments, but like ngo said, it was done for cold air.

Oh hell yeah much Props to East Side Collision & Kenny and his staff in Bellevile, NJ (nice healthy plug), these guys did wonders on my busted up door (no thanks to Target, but then again HELL YEAH THANKS TARGET FOR PAYING FOR MY KIT TO BE HANDLED)...

I deff am going back to Kenny in the near future for some more work. I still gotta get a spoiler and I also have some custom paint work for him to do in special top secret places so STAY TUNED.

Kenny, if you are out there buddy and get a chance to read this...thanks for the speedy turn around time of my car and the work and thanks for taking care of her and making her beautiful. (End plug which can be found in the good guy section).

Agreed, It pains me to have to have it there...I already got one ticket (which I am disputing) for not having my tag on the bumper vs. the front window...I may just get a relocation thing and do an off centered JDM look off the lip I guess. If anyone has any ideas Im all ears for them. But i have to have it displayed

Damn can't see the pics.. Will have to check it out from home..

I've been thinking about doing the bumper cutout for a long time.. Keep the benefits of the NA resonance tuning and get colder air flowing in. I don't suppose anyone with this mod has ever logged intake air temps to see the difference?

That Black car really looks great. Clean kit flows with the car. Does not look like a F&F street warrior (gag) like the red car. Keep up the good work!
